Vince turned 22 yesterday! Luckily, it wasn't 21 because it would be kind of a boring birthday to celebrate in Italy when drinking is so normal and expected. Cosimo has probably mentioned this one restaurant about ten times, so we knew we had to try it at some point. It's called Acqua Al 2. I think there may be one in DC and CA or something. The restaurant is known for its steaks. Darcy, Joanna, Livia, Joey, Vince, and I went to dinner to celebrate the big day. I ordered the balsamic steak and a side salad. The steak was nothing I had expected it to be. I was picturing a flatter steak with a little bit of balsamic dressing on it, but the steak was smouthered in it. It was so sweet. Very delicious! Vince and Joey got the Steak Sampler so they had a very different varieties of steak including a blueberry steak (literally it is a steak smouthered in a blueberry sauce.) So yummy!

We went to a club called Naima afterward and got free prosecco (like champagne) for his birthday. I ordered a drink there called Sex on the Moon. It had a strong lime flavor. It was interesting. Darcy was obsessed with this drink and ordered like four. There was also Sex on the Sand which was kind of like a grapefruit flavor. I just think the names of some of these drinks are so funny. Then, we went to a club called Twice and got some more free prosecco. I've realized that free stuff always tastes better :)
