For my advertising class today, we went to Ferragamo's exhibit of Marilyn Monroe. It was by far the best museum I've been to! haha. I guess it just interested me more. My mom would have liked it since she and I have been watching the TV series "Smash" which is a show all about producing a musical about Marilyn Monroe's life. I recognized a lot of the wardrobe and songs that are in the TV series today. There was even a video clip of Marilyn singing "Happy Birthday" to President John F. Kennedy (which supposedly he had an affair with). She was gorgeous and much more talented than I had thought she was. I thought she was just famous for her pretty face, but she was a singer and actress as well. How have I not seen any of her movies? I need to watch them! It was definitely a fun class today :)
I'm off to do some yodeling, canyoning, and eating chocolate in the swiss alps! (Okay not the yodeling, but you never know).
